Stefano Mauri is considering a move to the MLS while Klose decides to stay with Lazio
The contract of Stefano Mauri reaches it’s end at the end of the current month in June and at the age of 35, he is reaching the last stages of his career where it’s time to start considering what to do before hanging up his boots and a move to the MLS is beginning to tempt the Italian midfielder.
Even though Mauri’s contract with Lazio is about to end, he remains certain that he will have his contract extended with the Italian club but the player is still trying to keep his options open.
Lazio’s Stefano Mauri said: “My contract is ending, but I really don’t think there will be any problems extending it. However, if an interesting offer were to come from the MLS, then I would have to think about it, that’s for sure.”
While Stefano Mauri is considering what to do if either to continue his stay in Lazio or making a move to the MLS, his German teammate MiroslavKlose is 100% certain about what he wants to do as he committed his future to Lazio and will be performing with the Italian club for at least another season.
Klose devoted his future with Lazio as he said: “To play another season with Lazio is a decision I have taken with my heart. My family and I feel really happy in Rome and with Lazio. The fans are fantastic and they make us feel all of their love and warmth every single day. They are truly unique. I also want to give my personal support to our coach, who is a truly special person, and the whole Biancocelesti club, to continue to help their image grow via a positive and winning path.”
MiroslavKlose helped Lazio in securing the 3rd spot of the Italian League, Serie A after scoring 13 league goals and he wants to continue aiding Lazio in their next challenges.
