LAZIO WILL NOT SELL
Italian club Lazio have once again stated that they do not have the intention of selling German international Miroslav Klose in the summer. The former Bayern Munich striker has been linked with a move away from Lazio after impressing with the Italian club in his first season. The 34-year-old striker only has one year left on his current contract, which has led to speculation that he could be subject to a bid of around £ 10 million. However, Lazio have stated that they intend to keep Miroslav Klose until the end of his contract at the least.
Spanish club Barcelona are one of the names being mentioned as a possible destination for Miroslav Klose. Due to the lack of the target number nine, Barcelona failed to get past Chelsea, who defended in great numbers. Miroslav Klose is just the right kind of striker that would suit Barcelona at the moment. The 34-year-old has incredible experience having played for the national team on many occasions, while he has great experience of the club football as well during his time at Bayern Munich. Miroslav Klose has scored an amazing 13 goals in just 27 Italian Serie A matches for the club.
“Klose is not for sale. We have not received any offers for him. If an offer was to arrive, we would not accept it because he is a crucial player for us,” according to Lazio sporting director Igli Tare, who said to Sky Italia. Meanwhile, Lazio midfielder Hernanes has confirmed that he is not looking at the Premier league as his next possible destination. Hernanes has confirmed that he will be leaving Lazio, but has said that he would ideally like to move to Spain. Liverpool, Tottenham and Arsenal are some of the clubs interested in securing his signature.
