The Lazio duo of Luiz Felipe and Manuel Lazzarri have been passed fit for the Serie A clash with AC Milan at the San Siro on Sunday evening. New Lazio boss Maurizio Sarri takes his team to Milan to face the Rossoneri in what’s the biggest test of his managerial reign at the capital club. Felipe and Lazzarri are available for selection ahead of the Milan game after respective injuries.

Lazio led the Italian Serie A on goal difference from the likes of champions Inter Milan, AS Roma, Napoli and upcoming opponents Milan ahead of this weekend’s set of games. The five teams all won their first two games in the league this season.

Napoli have since replaced Lazio at the Serie A summit after their comeback win over struggling Juventus. Napoli made it three wins at the start of the new Italian Serie A season with a 2-1 win at home to the Old Lady. Spanish national team striker Alvaro Morata gave the visitors a first half lead thanks to his strike in the tenth minute after winning the ball back from Napoli centre back Kostas Manolas.

Napoli faced their biggest test yet under the new management led by Luciano Spalletti and they came out in flying colours by turning the game against Juventus on its head in the second half thanks to the goals from Marco Politano and KalidouKoulibaly to condemn the Old Lady to a winless start after the first three league games of the second Maximiliano Allegri spell at the club. Allegri and his players have one point from three matches in the Italian Serie A this season.

Lazio can reclaim the Serie A summit if they manage to secure an away win over Milan but they don’t have a good record at the San Siro with just one win in 31 games.
