Lazio’s Felipe Anderson is attracting the interest of top European clubs but the Italian club is attempting to keep hold of the 22 year old midfielder for as long as possible. Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain are the latest clubs that have shown interest in securing the services of the Brazilian player but it’s unlikely that Anderson will be leaving Lazio unless a very tempting offer is launched.
Igli Tare is the technical area coordinator of Lazio and he revealed that Manchester United made an offer in the region of €50 million as the Premier League club attempted to sign the Brazilian midfielder but Lazio rejected this offer as the offer wasn’t good enough.
“We turned down a €50m offer from Manchester United on Aug. 27 and nothing has changed since then, because if he finds consistency, then he’s worth much more. We also resisted bigger offers than that, but we have targets to achieve.” Lazio’s technical coordinator, Igli Tare said.
The Italian club is indeed willing to offload Felipe Anderson as well as a few other players who have attracted the interest of other European clubs but only if the price is right. Igli Tare revealed that the board of directors of the club and the rest of the head chiefs of the club will meet up and evaluate every offer that has been made and will be made throughout the winter transfer window before reaching a decision.
