KEITA READY TO LEAVE LAZIO, MILAN PREPARES OFFER

AC Milan is preparing to sign Keita Balde Diao, Lazio talented midfielder with Keita also having expressed his intention to leave the club.


As the January transfer window opens next year, AC Milan’s coach, Vincenzo Montella, hopes to make some new additions to his squad, especially in the positions of a centre midfielder and a winger.

He has also expressed readiness to part with Carlos Bacca, in order to make sure the signing of Keita is successful.

There is a sort of strained relationship with Keita and Lazio, and during the club’s Christmas dinner recently, he had walked out at the time president Claude Lotito was getting ready to deliver his speech.

Stefano Mauri is considering a move to the MLS while Klose decides to stay with Lazio

The contract of Stefano Mauri reaches it’s end at the end of the current month in June and at the age of 35, he is reaching the last stages of his career where it’s time to start considering what to do before hanging up his boots and a move to the MLS is beginning to tempt the Italian midfielder.

Even though Mauri’s contract with Lazio is about to end, he remains certain that he will have his contract extended with the Italian club but the player is still trying to keep his options open.

Lazio’s Stefano Mauri said: “My contract is ending, but I really don’t think there will be any problems extending it. However, if an interesting offer were to come from the MLS, then I would have to think about it, that’s for sure.”

While Stefano Mauri is considering what to do if either to continue his stay in Lazio or making a move to the MLS, his German teammate MiroslavKlose is 100% certain about what he wants to do as he committed his future to Lazio and will be performing with the Italian club for at least another season. Stefano Pioli says that he is extremely delighted with the way his team played

Lazio manager Stefano Pioli says that he is extremely delighted with the way his team played in the 2-0 victory over Hellas Verona. Lazio have been one of the inform teams in the Italian Serie A in the last few weeks.

They have been unbeaten since suffering the 1-0 defeat against Genoa at the start of February. This form has seen them move into third place ahead of Sampdoria and Napoli, who have both slipped to more than four points behindPioli’s team. After having captured the third place at such a crucial stage in the season,Pioli will start dreaming about a Champions League spot.

Qualification for the Champions League will be an immense achievement forPioli, who came to the club only this season as the replacement for Edoardo Reja. Despite having an old strikeforce featuring the likes of Miroslav Klose, they have been able to build from the back. A major reason for the immense form has been Brazilian midfielder Felipe Anderson, who has nine goals in 21 appearances. This form has seen him being linked with the likes of Manchester City and United with a possible £ 30 million offer coming in the summer.
